Q: Is it magnetic?
A: Yes, they are magnetic. 
 
Q: Can this be used to drill holes?
A: The end accepts only hex drive shapes (such as screwdriver bits), so you don't have a clutch to tighten on a drill bit. It would work if you were to get a bit with a hex end.
 
Q: Will these work with an electric screwdriver?
A: If your electric screwdriver uses 1/4 inch hex bits (it probably does as this is the standard size), yes, these extensions will work for you.
