Approximately 1.2 billion people in the world live without access to electricity, and most of them reside in Africa and India, where people are forced to rely on noxious kerosene and bulky, acid-leaking batteries. Due to the lack of access to electricity and modern energy sources, people around the world, especially in rural communities, struggle to break out of the cycle of poverty.
